Visiting the Sick
The Rector is available to pray with anyone who is sick; to offer, if necessary, the blessing of absolution, and to communicate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Body and Blood.
Funerals bring sorrow in the face of death, and joy in Jesus’ promise of the resurrection of the body. The burial service brings together readings from the Bible, prayers and Christian hymns to remind us of the hope we have in Christ’s victory over death. The Rector should be notified when a person is near death.
